Luis Rivera spent eleven years as a commercial journeyman before opening a residential shop in Silver Spring. Most of his work is unglamorous: knob-and-tube removal, undersized panels, and the kind of hidden junction boxes that turn up during a kitchen demo. He teaches a Saturday apprentice session out of the shop twice a month.
